About the Fair:

Our Fall Career & Internship Fair 2013 is one of the largest fairs the University of Maryland conducts and with more than 6,000 participants it is one of the largest university fairs in the region. We only have space for 120 employers each day (all in one location) so sign up early. Employers can NOT register for multiple days due to space. Exceptions may be made after the priority deadline has passed.

NOTE: There are no specific days geared towards particular majors. Register for any day to see all types of students.

Please register by August 23, 2013 by 1 p.m. EST in order to ensure your information is included in our printed fair materials.

 Pricing Information:

Packages include: 6' x 8' space (6' x 18' for double booth) with table (3' x 6') and chairs, catered brunch, parking, fair booklet inclusion, booth signage and promotion on the web. Wireless internet password and electrical outlet access is also available at each space. Price for single booths include 4 attendees while double booths include 8 attendees.  A charge of $100 is assessed for every additional person above the previously stated limit.

For-Profit Organizations:

  • Single Booth: $735
  • Double Booth: $1,270

Government Organizations:

  • Single Booth: $635
  • Double Booth: $1,070

Non-Profit Organizations:

  • Single Booth: $235
  • Double Booth: N/A

Important Deadlines & Cancellation Policy:

Deadline to register in order to be in the printed materials: 1 p.m. EST on August 23, 2013.

Payment Deadline: Payment must be made by October 1, 2013.

Cancellation policy: because the center pays for space in advance, we have to adhere to a strict cancellation policy.  In order to receive a full refund - or to not be billed if you haven't already paid - cancellations must be made in writing via email at abradfor@umd.edu by August 23, 2013 by 1:00pm EST. All other cancellations made after this deadline - including cancellations made by employers who register after the cancellation deadline - will still be billed and no refund will be administered.

Add-on Opportunity - FREE Networking Event with Students:

The University Career Center has teamed up with the Department of Fraternity and Sorority Life, Veteran Student Life, and Maryland Athletics to provide employer a special opportunity to connect with diverse and talented UMD students.. In conjunction with our large Fall Career & Internship Fair we will host a special networking reception on Wednesday, September 25th, 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Registration for this networking opportunity is included as an add-on with the general fair registration.
