Fall 2014 Career and Internship Fair
Information for Students

This annual 3-day event provides you with an opportunity to meet face-to-face with employers to discuss full-time, part-time, and internship opportunities. Each day will have different employers so you are encouraged to plan ahead. Dress professionally and bring multiple copies of your resume. No preregistration is necessary.


University of Maryland, College Park:

  • Current students and spouses*
  • Alumni and spouses*
  • Faculty/staff and spouses*
  • Shady Grove campus students (with UMCP ID Cards)

Spouses should preregister for the fair.  Current Students, Alumni, and Faculty/Staff do not need to preregister.

No other individuals (including other University System of Maryland colleges and universities) will be admitted this event.


Shuttle buses are provided to Comcast Center from 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on September 17th and 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on September 18th . Buses will run on continuous loops - each stop will be served every 15 minutes (the union stop may be served more frequently).

The three routes are

  • Bus A - Comcast, Denton Hall, Courtyards (at the bus stop near building #500), Comcast
  • Bus B - Comcast, Montgomery Hall, Mowatt Garage/Commons (D-shaped driveway at Shuttle-UM stop near garage entrance), Comcast
  • Bus C - Comcast, Stamp, Comcast
